a
provider of Intelligent Capacity Management
and data storage solutions, announced the
results of its recent participation in
Novell's Brainshare conference. CaminoSoft
came away from the conference with over 300
qualified leads from companies that have shown
interests in CaminoSoft's products and have
expressed an immediate need for a data storage
solution.
In December
of 2001, CaminoSoft signed a non-exclusive
licensing agreement for the Novell sales staff
to sell CaminoSoft's products. In January, for
the first time, CaminoSoft's Managed Server
and Storage Server products appeared on the
Novell price list. Brainshare is an annual
conference held by Novell to introduce clients
and customers to the latest technological
innovations. The CaminoSoft product line was
exhibited in the Novell partner area at
Brainshare.
Walter
Kornbluh, Chief Executive Officer, stated,
"The industry has finally come to realize
the benefits of HSM (Hierarchical Storage
Management) and data differentiation. In an
environment where we're creating more data in
three years than in the preceding 200,000
years combined, there is a crying need for
data storage solutions that can scale up into
the multiple terabyte range, that allow the
user to pre-define automatic storage criteria
and that allow transparent, instant
de-migration of archived data on demand.
Interest in our product line at the show was
extremely high. In the Novell market place, we
are the only company offering this type of
product. There are approximately 4 million
Novell servers in use today. Our sales force
and the Novell sales force are working today
to convert these leads into actual sales in
the very near future."
