, a leading provider of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions for Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 and Novell NetWare & GroupWise environments, today announced that Robert Degan, a current member of the company's board, has been elected chairman. He succeeds Steven Spector, who has resigned due to professional and investment demands. Spector became a director in February 2000 and subsequently served as chairman since September 2003.
Degan's career experience includes serving as general manager of the Enhanced Services and Migration Unit of Cisco Systems, Inc. and chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Summa Fours, Inc. He joined CaminoSoft's board of directors in January 2001.
In addition, CaminoSoft announced the resignation of Walter Kornbluh, citing his desire to pursue other professional and business activities. Kornbluh joined the company in May 1997 and became a director in April 1998.
The company also announced the election of Lee Pryor to its board. Pryor is founder and chief executive officer of Interventures, LLC, an advisory and coaching services firm assisting start-up and late-stage entrepreneurial companies. His career experience includes both private and public firms in a variety of industries, including e-commerce, Internet database publishing and marketing, online demand printing, computer supplies distribution, and technology contract manufacturing. He is a frequent speaker at venture capital conferences, association meetings, and business schools on such topics as strategy, leadership, and managing for success. Pryor attended Johns Hopkins University, the U.S. Naval Academy, and Northwestern University.
